2020 has been the year of podcasts. No medium ever has been so popular. With most of the people around the globe spending their time at home, the podcast seemed the perfect medium to get people to listen. Now beginning of 2021 there are podcasts for literally everything…also Photography and of course also mobile photography.

Andreas Nusser, German mobile photographer and creative director started out a podcast on mobile photography which you can listen to on Spotify. He usually teaches person-in-person workshops called ISHOOTMOBILE but now you can get insights on how to edit your pictures or work with your mobile camera even on the go.

Photography Daily by Neale James (English Language)

This daily podcast features photographers, film and image makers, interviews, the philosophy of photography and how and why we make pictures. And Neale is not only registering his podcasts at home and inviting interesting photographers to his talk, he even takes us outside with him on a photo walk.

diemotive podcast (German Language)

diemotive is a German magazine on the culture of photography. In contrast to common photo magazines diemotive concentrates on speaking about photography and images instead of just simply showing them. The print magazine usually displays more texts than images and therefore it is no wonder that diemotive found a perfect medium in the podcast. Host and publisher Alexander Hagmann invites people from the photography scene to talk with them about their journey and view on photography.
