A Gentle Collision by Alexander Ahrens
„A Gentle Collision“ is based on an homonymic Tumblrblog where Alexander Ahrens is uploading images from his mobile phone. The idea to create a yearly journal in print version emerged as the result of collaboration with the design studio Emphase Sàrl in Lausanne (Switzerland). Basically, the more "fast altering and ephemeral" material of simple newsprint paper corresponds to the Alexander Ahrens concept of "Mobile Photography". The first issue of the journal was limited to 30 copies. The second issue is in progress.
